Join the My Craft Channel team at The ORIGINAL Scrapbook USA EXPO

My Craft Channel is proud to announce that they have partnered with an amazing event. We will have a booth there with opportunities for YOU to film and be seen on My Craft Channel. In addition we are hosting Make & Takes from some of our HOSTS and your favorite manufacturers both days. Be sure to stop by our booth and join our amazing drawing too! But let's tell you more about this fun event you can find us at on March 22nd-23rd. For the past 13 years, Sandy, Utah has hosted the premier Scrapbooking event - The Original Scrapbook USA Expo.

Scrapper's and crafter's from all over the country (and beyond) have traveled to Scrapbook USA for shopping, cropping, and lot's of fun and unique memories.

Join us for a few hours or better yet, make a weekend out of it. There is SO much to do at The Original Scrapbook USA!

This year our theme is Party Like It's 1999, and that is just what we intend to do. The fun starts on Friday at 9:00 am and goes until midnight. We start again at 9:00 on Saturday and keep the shopping and partying going until 6:00 pm. Of course, if the wait from Friday to Saturday is too long, join us for our All Night Crop and party until you drop (literally!). There is no other event where you can crop, shop, flex your muscles in a friendly tug-of-war challenge for product or stand up where your at and join in a dance-off, all in the same room.

So what makes Utah's The Original Scrapbook USA Expo so special?
I'd like to think it is the perfect combination of everything that we, the scrapper's and crafter's enjoy, all going on in one place, at the same time!

The Original Scrapbook USA Expo is home to the best vendor’s in the industry. We have everything from paper manufacturer’s to stamp companies and from new tools to innovative digital booths ready to inspire you with fresh and trendy ideas. Whether you are a fan of page kits or are more of a “do it from scratch” kind of crafter, you will be inspired and amazed as you browse and shop over 120 booths!

Stacy Julian's Coming to Utah - May 5th

We know many of you are HUGE fans of Stacy Julian's Photo Freedom show here on My Craft Channel. We've missed having her around the studio and hope she'll be able to film again with us, but she is one busy girl. But did you know, you can still view all her amazing, original episodes on My Craft Channel here.

Anyway, great news!! We found out that Stacy will be heading back to Utah next week and you can meet her in person if you'd like. She'll be hanging at the Doodlebug Design offices for a really fun National Scrapbook Day broadcast and class event. Check out the details below...

A LIVE Crop & Shop Event with Stacy Julian
May 5th, 2012 | Salt Lake City, Utah

Stacy Julian will be kicking off this FREE BPC Creative Crop event with a LIVE video chat from the wonderfully colorful Doodlebug headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah. But, it gets better ...

We've created two LIVE Crop & Shop events later in the day (as a BONUS!)

Each three-hour event will feature 3 rotations, including a lecture-style class with Stacy, a hands-on, create your own 8x8 album with Wendy Smedley and Doodlebug designers and a final hour to enjoy a delicious box lunch, delightfully fun make & takes and a special National Scrapbook Day store chock full of Doodlebug products at special prices.

The product value alone for this event is $100 per student, plus there is potential prizes and instruction and personal time with Stacy Julian, Wendy Smedley and the Doodlebug Team! Our promotion time is short for these events, but we're excited to share this opportunity with you for only $50.00!

Workshops and performances by award-winning storytellers, performers and speakers, will help you explore ways to use the power of story in your home. You’ll be able to record your own story, start on some research to learn more about your family’s history, get started on a blog and learn how to tell your story through social media.
