    ReplyDelete
  55. Denver or Southern California. When do we get one of these in Utah??

    ReplyDelete
  56. How about Billings, Montana? Host the scrap and stamp show the same weekend as the Saturday Women of Faith but on the Saturday night and all day Sunday to compliment women from North and South Dakota, Wyoming, Southern Alberta, and Sach.t.wan, Idaho and northern Utah. Billings Convention Center and Montana Holiday Inn Grand Convention Center have floor space for displayers and make 'n take and are a four lane parking lot walk over apart (easy in blizzard or rain) with guest rooms at each and a third within another 600 feet plus six more within a half road mile total including an underpass traffic lighted intersection. Sitdown and drive through quick food and wallet emptying fifteen places are in that same half mile! Ice skating rink, outdoor mini golf, water slide, ceramics painting while eating ice cream shop, Michael's and Hobby Lobby crafts with lesson make 'n takes on Saturday noonish many weeks, and indoor paintball, watch it in production radio station, watch and smell it in action coffee roaster and bar, Joanne's Fabrics and crafts is to move into that area by summer, shopping shopping shopping within two miles with more food and theaters as family options (when people come this far swimming pools or reef water slide tubes in these establishments are big drawing cards). Drop off babysitting is within a mile and again in two miles 24/7 capable! Dog daycare at local vets' fills in on four footed friend comfort. Both make'n take locations have lawn and doggie sections near the walkover. We have hosted the Montana State Reading Council in this location every other year for some twenty plus years with great attendance. One sequence included the Montana State Teachers' Association meeting in that same complex area. Attendees were so grateful for the walkover and ease of combining sectionals and workshops (even a six credit hour class at the third hotel!)where a Cracker Barrel makes for easy meals on the buiding's
    west side).
A second option is METRA/ RimRock Auto Arena at the Yellowstone Fairgrounds which has three generous display buildings adjacent to the Arena and three double square dance hardwood floored buildings surrounding fenced parking. New street traffic access makes the place empty out more easily following sessions needing to feed into local downtown and Heights eatery options and guest house accomodations. City buses are frequent. Taxi service is multiple. Shuttles may be arranged for warm travel with cropping supplies to and from the airport or hotel/motel accomodations. Various asphalt entrances and an elevator make this facility comparable handicapped access to the convention center locations' main floor accesses. Just a thought with a whole lot of details to go! in another email!
