The Crafty Chica, Kathy Cano-Murillo joins My Craft Channel

It's our third week here at My Craft Channel and we're thrilled to keep unveiling some of the most amazing crafters out there and giving away 20 Cricut Machines. And what a way to start a Monday, with the amazing and sparkly Kathy Cano-Murillo. If you've never heard of the Crafty Chica, then you are in for a treat!! 

The worlds of juicy pageturners and artful ideas collide in the new series, Novel Adventures With The Crafty Chica.


This show presents craft projects inspired by the characters in Kathy Cano-Murillo’s novels. She is an award-winning artist and designer - as well as a successful author. Kathy's books celebrate friendship, true love, overcoming the odds, and best of all - crafty characters! From love shrines and speed crochet to duct tape dress forms and Mexibilly frocks - there are plenty of DIY projects woven into the storylines. Kathy will share how to make each and every one of them, from the viewpoint of the characters.

Kathy, an avid book lover and crafter, is on a mission to inspire craft groups to read novels, and for book groups to take up crafting. Each episode will present a project tutorial, tips and variations, and ideas for hosting a craft or book night themed around the project. In addition, Kathy will also share occasional projects from her seven craft books.
