Battle of the Crafters Winners Announced

We were so excited to host our first "Battle of the Crafters" craft competition and hope to grow this into a regular feature here on My Craft Channel. Thank you for all that emailed us your projects. It was tough to find the best one for each category...we sure have talented viewers.

We are excited to announce the three category winners....

STYLE WINNER: 

Our panel of judges loved how this very creative crafter made her egg carton into this flower. We couldn't even tell it started as an egg carton. We think this fun crafter should create a tutorial for the weekend to show us how she created this very stylish egg carton flower. Too cute!!

JUST PLAIN CRAZY WINNER:

Our judges loved how fun and crazy this idea was, but this was more cleaver then crazy. Would you believe that the top tea light bulb portion opens up to reveal a working battery operated tea light candle. I think it would be fun to see these in different heights and maybe spray painted different colors.

FUNCTIONALITY WINNER: 

Our judges love that this cleaver crafter created a very functional pin cushion, but what caught our eye was that she stitched hexagons together to create the cushion part.

HONORABLE MENTION: 

We would have picked this darling crafter to win, but she belongs to our own Staci Potter. She was so excited to craft something of her own using the recycled egg cartons..and her mom didn't even help. She even painted the back of the lid...but what American Girl Doll wouldn't love a show rack like this one? Way to go girl!!
