Fresh Face Search: We Pay to Fly You to Utah for Filming!!

There is still time to submit your application for the My Craft Channel "Fresh Face Talent Search." Here's your chance to become one of our newest hosts on My Craft Channel.

We are not judging you on your video recording or video editing skills (so no need to have any)...but we are looking at how you are on camera and the types of ideas you want to share with our viewers.

BONUS: My Craft Channel will pay to bring you out to Utah for filming if you are the winner of our talent search. Search ends August 30, 2011. Details below (read carefully)....

1. Simply film yourself (flip cam is fine), doing a project or tutorial. Show us what you would like to do if you had the chance to be on My Craft Channel. We are not judging your filming, technical skills at all...just your host skills and creativity.

2. MAKE SURE YOU MENTION "MY CRAFT CHANNEL" in your video or at the end of your video. 

3. Upload it on your YouTube channel and then EMAIL US a link. In the email, please indicate your contact information (name, phone number, email and address). We'd also love a link to your blog if you have one.

4. Post your video and email us the link before August 30, 2011.

Tell it Tuesday: Back to School Ideas

I thought it would be fun to stop in on a few of our hosts periodically and update the My Craft Channel followers on what they're up to with our Tell it Tuesday blog posts. Heather from our Get a Little Creative group posted this fun Monogram teacher's gift idea on her blog. Loved the different ideas she talks about and started of thinking of some of my own after being inspired by her blog post. 

One Charming Party
What a fun idea...lunch sack labels. After trying out a variety of different lunch bags they sell with the backpacks this time of year, we always ended up back to using go ol' brown paper sacks. I didn't have to worry about if my kids remembered to bring them home or stress if they were lost, because they just get tossed in the trash...but these cute labels make it more personalized and fun!

I Heart Faces Photography
I had to go back to an older blog post to find this, but since our topic seems to be about Back to School I thought the creative gals at I Heart Faces could give us all some great ideas on back to school photos and they did NOT disappoint. I loved this post and hope to put some of their inspiration to work this next week (if my teenagers will cooperate).

The Great Pinterest Challenge!
